Resizing runs entirely in your browser — your images never leave your device. EXIF orientation is applied automatically before resizing. Images that already match the target size are passed through without re-encoding.
How to use
- Drop your images into the box or click “Choose images” — up to 30 files, 100 MB in total.
- Pick a platform preset from the size tables, or enter your own width and height.
- Choose how the image should be scaled: fit inside, fill and crop, stretch, width only, or height only.
- Optionally change the output format, quality, resampling, and file name.
- Click “Resize images”, then download each file or all of them as a ZIP.

How to batch resize images
Drop up to 30 images into the box at once; every one of them is decoded and re-encoded locally in your browser. The settings panel applies to the whole batch, and each row in the list shows the original size next to the target size, recalculated as you type — so you can see exactly what 1080 × 1080 will do to a panorama before processing anything.
Once the target size looks right, click “Resize images”. Each file is processed one at a time to keep memory usage low, and you can cancel at any point. When the batch finishes, download the files individually or grab everything as a single ZIP archive — file names follow the {name}-{w}x{h} pattern by default, with -2 appended when two names collide.
Need a smaller file rather than a different size? Use Image Compressor. Need to change the composition? Use Image Cropper. Switching formats instead? Use Image Converter. Putting images into a document? Use Image to PDF.
What “keep the aspect ratio” means
- Fit inside (contain) — the output canvas is exactly the size you asked for, the image is scaled down proportionally and centred, and the leftover space becomes padding. Nothing is cropped and nothing is distorted. This is the default.
- Fill and crop (cover) — the image is scaled up proportionally until it covers the whole canvas, then centred and cropped. The aspect ratio stays correct, but content near the edges is cut off.
- Stretch — the image is forced to the exact width and height. If the aspect ratio differs from the original by more than 10%, a yellow warning appears because the picture will visibly deform.
- Width only / Height only — you set one side and the other is calculated from the original aspect ratio, so the image can never be distorted.

FAQ
Will resizing distort my image?
Not by default. The default scaling mode, “Fit inside”, keeps the aspect ratio and adds padding where needed, and “Fill and crop” keeps it by cropping the overflow. Only “Stretch” forces the exact width and height, and the tool shows a warning whenever the aspect ratio changes by more than 10%.
What size should a WeChat official account cover be?
900 × 383 px (about 2.35:1). The small thumbnail inside an article is 200 × 200 px, and a WeChat Channels video cover is 1080 × 1260 px (6:7). Apply these straight from the “Platforms in China” table.
What size should a Xiaohongshu cover be?
1080 × 1440 px, a 3:4 portrait image. Square Xiaohongshu posts use 1080 × 1080 px. Both presets are in the “Platforms in China” table.
Can I resize only the width?
Yes. Set “Scaling” to “Width only” and enter a width — the height is calculated from the original aspect ratio. For example, a 1920 × 1080 photo resized to a width of 800 px becomes 800 × 450 px. “Height only” works the same way in reverse.
Why does my image look blurry after I enlarge it?
Enlarging only interpolates the pixels that are already there, so it cannot recover detail that the camera never captured. This tool does not do AI super-resolution, so a 2× enlargement will always look softer than the original. The result is labelled “Upscaled” whenever the target is larger than the source.
Does resizing remove EXIF data?
Yes. Every resized image is re-encoded without EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates. The EXIF orientation is applied first, so photos taken in portrait stay upright. Images that already match the target size are passed through untouched, byte for byte, and keep their original metadata.
